We are excited to welcome Rabbi Zohar and his family to Temple Sinai!
Rabbi Or Zohar, his wife Feliza, and two of their four children (son, Rakiya, 16 and daughter, Tsofiya, 9), will be joining our congregation on July 1. Let’s give them the warmest Temple Sinai welcome and create opportunities for them to meet our congregation in different ways!
We all know that social events are a great way to introduce people to one another and encourage more personal connection. From July through December, we would like to invite Temple Sinai congregants to host different social events to provide natural opportunities to engage with Rabbi Zohar and Feliza on a more personal level. We envision two types of opportunities:
- Would you like to host Rabbi Zohar and his family for a small gathering at your home, with your Sinai friends? - Would you like to host a Friday evening Shabbat oneg over the summer?
Host a social gathering outside of Temple:
Host an oneg over the summer: This is an opportunity for an individual or a group of Temple Sinai members to host an oneg after an Erev Shabbat service this summer.
If you have any questions about hosting, please let us know. Thank you for taking an active role in welcoming Rabbi Zohar and his family to our congregation! Sincerely, Vicki Weinstein Finnefrock vickiwfinnefrock@gmail.com Chair Rabbi Transition Committee |
