Mary Mansfield, MPA
Executive Director
Mary joined us in 2019, having many years of experience as an operations executive in both the public and nonprofit sectors. Since then, she has helped us in virtually every aspect of our organization, bringing to the daily management of Temple Sinai her passion and expertise in organizational development, change management, leadership and supervisory skills, budget development, management and corporate compliance, and diversity initiatives. Mary holds a bachelor's degee in Health Science and a master's degree in public administration.
Mary lives with her husband, Mark, in nearby Victor, and together they have four children: Daniel, Emily, John, and Elaine and two dogs: Lucy and Henry.

Susan Rizzo
Education Director
Susan has served the Sinai community as Education since 2022. Before that, she served in a variety of capacities, including as Board Trustee, Accessibility & Inclusion co-chair, and Adult Education chair. Susan has long been drawn to education. Her educational background already included biology, medicine, deaf education, and linguistics when, in May 2022, Susan earned an additional degree - Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies (Spertus Institute) with a Master’s Concentration in Israel Education (The iCenter). Her Jewish learning was catalyzed by participation in the Wexner Heritage Program.
Susan aims to share her excitement about Jewish learning with her own children - Toby (Bogrim; a fifth-year madrich) and Simon (Bogrim; a fourth-year madrich) - and with yours!
