Mitzvah Day starts with a 9:30-10 AM community gathering in the Sanctuary.  Afterwards, community members will fan out to perform mitzvot either on-site at Temple Sinai or off-site at places like the Brighton Food Cupboard, Wild Wings, Downtown YWCA or Jewish Home. 

All children must be accompanied by at least one family member.  Teachers will help with the various activities, but parents/guardians are responsible for their children. 

The morning ends whenever your activity ends.  There is no need for those who venture off-site to return to Temple Sinai at the conclusion of their activity.  At that point, go, enjoy the day (and the feeling of having started your day off by performing mitzvot)!

The activity sign-up - which is intended not just for school families, but for all congregants - is now LIVE.  Activities are arranged from those most appropriate for younger participants (top) to those least appropriate (bottom).  Suggested grades/ages are just that - suggestions.  Some activities have maxima; others, not so much.
