School of Jewish Life & Learning

School of Jewish Life & Learning

The School of Jewish Life & Learning of Temple Sinai is dedicated to providing innovative

and high quality Jewish education.

The goal of exploring both the intellectual and spiritual aspects of Judaism is realized by

focusing on the critical partnership between the School of Jewish Life & Learning and the

Jewish family.

It is Temple Sinai’s belief that Jewish and Hebrew education are essential components in the development of our children. It acquaints them with and brings them closer to their spiritual

and historical heritage, traditions, and culture. As they grow and learn, they will be able to

actively participate in the Jewish community.

It is our goal to develop in our children a love and appreciation of their religious and

the community to which they belong through a well-defined, enthusiastic educational

program. They will acquire knowledge, understanding and respect concerning the various

aspects of Judaism, commitments for observance, Israel, Jewish Holidays, our history, the

Jewish Community, the Hebrew language, and the world around them.

Because we recognize the importance of involving the family as the core of the Jewish

education process, our educational program fosters the link between the religious

experience in our synagogue, the school and the Jewish home.
