Sinai Sings

Dear Fellow Temple Sinai Congregants,

We cordially invite you to participate in our first Sinai Sings initiative. While we would all rather be sitting in our actual sanctuary, we continue to make efforts to experience feelings of togetherness during this time from slightly afar. As the season of Hanukkah is approaching, we are looking to involve as many people in the congregation as possible, joining their voices together in the singing of Oh Chanukah.

How will we accomplish this? With your help! We need every voice. The sound that fills so many of us up when we are in the sanctuary is the sound of us singing together. This is NOT for choir members or singers only. If you sing along in services or to anything, we want you!

Are you new to recording yourself? You can access a tutorial video that will provide you a step by step guide by clicking this link: https://youtu.be/C-a63f3BzSE
How will this work? You will record yourself singing along with a recorded track of Cantor Braun accompanied by Irina.  The link to access that track can be found here: https://youtu.be/QMryUKAMwTk

Concerned about navigating the technology? Contact Lindsey Hagan with any questions: lindseyehagan@gmail.com or (585)755-1834.

Please join us and be a part of helping us reach our goal of 10x Chai (180) voices strong!

Participant videos will be accepted until November 20th. After that, the videos will be edited to create a virtual choir performance.  We will be unable to accept videos after the November 20th deadline.

If you have any questions please email Cantor Braun at cantorbraun@tsinai.org or Lindsey Hagan at lindseyehagan@gmail.com.

Let’s sing, Sinai, and bring the light into the community together!
