Volunteering
Temple Sinai is a participatory congregation and all members are encouraged to join groups, committees, activities and programs to enhance their membership experience. Please refer to the list of contacts and committee chairpersons for more information and volunteer opportunities.
Ushers

Ushers at Sinai have the responsibility of maintaining decorum and providing general assistance at all religious services. At Shabbat services, this usually includes greeting congregants, helping with seating, and occasional prayer book handouts. Maintaining decorum during High Holiday services is more challenging, since the services are longer and more heavily attended. Volunteers generally usher once or twice a year during Friday evening services, and one or more High Holiday services.

Mitzvah Connection

Temple Sinai's Mitzvah Connection offers a wide range of assistance to our congregation.

We coordinate the preparation and delivery of meals, bake for shivas, provide transportation, participate in minyans and many services for our fellow congregants.

Mitzvah connection relies on congregants like you to reach out to other members during times of joy or sorrow.

Review the attached form for a list of opportunities you can help out.

Thank you in advance for your support!
