Ways to contribute to Temple Sinai

Temple Sinai Funds All of our members are important in the life of this congregation. Our gifts of time, energy, expertise and financial resources provide for the well-being of Temple Sinai. Whether we give as FRIENDS OF SINAI, ENHANCED DUES, to the new ENDOWMENT FUND or to the many other specifically designated funds of Sinai, your donations above your dues commitment allow us to maintain a solid financial base and help further our spiritual, educational and communal mission. A gift to Temple Sinai is always politically correct, in fashion and just the right color.

Temple Sinai is a 501(c)(3) organization; all contributions are tax deductible.

Friends of Sinai

2006 marks the 15th year of Friends of Sinai. Founded in 1991, Friends was established to provide an additional level of support for our Temple. Money donated by Friends is earmarked for capital improvements not funded because of budget constraints.

Over the years, the annual Friends contributions provided income for Sanctuary, Social Hall and Sukkah renovations, maintenance of our grounds and parking area, upgrade of office equipment, and improvements and restorations of areas within our building.

Every year, the life of our congregation is enhanced by the generosity of our Friends. Already two areas of need have been identified as potential designations for Friends’ donations: a new “workhorse” copy system to replace our nearly worn out and in need of major repair current copier; and a portable lift to the Bima, to allow our special needs congregants full access during services and special events.

As a family or as an individual, you can become a Friend of Sinai for a minimum annual commitment of $360. A one-time payment of $360, or payments of $120 on the installment plan, can be made.

We look to our members to support our synagogue through monetary donations or gifts of time, expertise and energy. Please consider this opportunity to enhance our Temple by joining the Friends of Sinai. Consult your Friends mailing or call the office for details (381-6890).
